Winnie The Manx was born out of a deep-seated passion for collector cars, particularly those that tell a story about innovation and history. Paying homage to Winifred Meyers, the beloved matron of the Manx Club was the inspiration here.

Bruce Meyers, the visionary inventor behind the Meyers Manx, created a stunning blend of art and engineering, providing a canvas for enthusiasts to experience joy on four wheels. As a nod to Winifred Meyers, this Manx was not built as a hot rod, but a luxury Manx. Low maintenace and ease of drivabilty at the forefront. One your mother can drive. Legacy features are preserved with a pre tag body(65-67), shortened VW pan with fresh 1600 Boxer engine and remanufactured transaxle. Vintage components sourced worldwide like Deitz 9-82 headlights, 1958 Hella glass taillights, chrome Select a Traction cutting brake, Momo Steering Wheel  and racing bucket seats believed to be originals from Ted's Aircraft Upholstery(who provided seats to Bruce before he his orders became too big).

Momo started in 1965, same year as Bruce. Very nice vintage Momo pedals and accessories.

Innovations to give it new car function and dependability include front disc brakes, power steering and self tuning fuel injection. Build was done as a labor of love by ASE Master technicians Steven and David Smith, inspired after learning of Bruce and Winnie's book, learning of her history in music and in helping Bruce through very hard times. So to recognize the leadership of "Mrs. Manx",  Winnie.
